{"id":490,"date":"2014-05-24T10:22:14","date_gmt":"2014-05-24T17:22:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gbm-online.com\/english\/?p=490"},"modified":"2014-10-19T19:59:17","modified_gmt":"2014-10-20T02:59:17","slug":"gbm-liberation-of-life-ceremony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gbm-online.com\/english\/?p=490","title":{"rendered":"GBM Liberation of Life Ceremony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Dharma friends,<\/p>\n<p>In order to satisfy our greed for food, we have poisoned the environment and mutilated Mother Nature.<br \/>\nThough we are far apart from the wide open sky, we are shrouded and entangled by our desires and stupidities.<\/p>\n<p>With a repentant mind, we redeem the lives of the sea creatures.<br \/>\nWith a sincere mind, we propagate the Buddha\u2019s teaching.<br \/>\nWith a hopeful mind, we pray for their liberation.<br \/>\nWhen we let the fishes and crabs swim back into the great ocean, we untie and rid afflictions from our souls and allow all beings to regain their freedom.<br \/>\nBy doing this, people will be more humble, at ease, just and compassionate.<\/p>\n<p>On May 25th starting at 10:00 AM, the Liberation of Life Ceremony will be held at Gold Buddha Monastery.<br \/>\nWe welcome all to come and join us in this ceremony.
